Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have ability to understand oral and written instructions in English.
• Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.
• Prior team lead experience is preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safety and follows all safety guidelines at all times.
• Inspects products for defects and measures products to ensure machine operation accuracy.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions and adjust as necessary.
• Reads job orders to determine product specifications and plan sequences.
• Loads and secures stock material for production, using manual or power equipment.
• Performs minor electrical and mechanical repairs and notifies maintenance for major service.
• Starts up and shuts down manufacturing equipment following SOPs.
• Maintains documentation of permanent records with neatness and accuracy.
• Adheres to SQF and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points guidelines.
• Demonstrates problem-solving and initiative.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
