Job summary

Ten Mile Paving Llc is seeking a self-motivated Full-Time Sweeper Truck Driver to join our team. Shifts are generally 12 hours, and you will operate a sweeper truck safely and efficiently while keeping the vehicle clean inside and out.

Training is available for motivated applicants, with starting pay from $19 to $21 per hour. Candidates should have a valid driver's license (CDL not required but a plus), at least two years of experience operating company vehicles, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license; CDL is not required but a plus.
• Two years' experience operating company vehicles.
• Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check.
• Maintain a Medical Examiner's Certificate for DOT vehicles.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends and nights when necessary.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate sweeper truck safely and efficiently.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean inside and out.
• Perform daily inspections with documentation.
• Report to work at the designated start time.
• Work in a team and assist on other duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Individual must be able to operate truck in a safe and efficient manor as well as maintain a clean truck (both inside and out) of which is assigned. Willing to train motivated applicants. Starting rate from $19-$21 an hour.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have valid drivers license, CDL not necessary but a plus;
• 2 years previous experience operating company vehicles;
• Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and criminal background check;
• Ability to maintain a Medical Examiner's Certificate for DOT vehicles;
• Be willing to work holidays, weekends and nights when necessary;
• Ability to work overtime when required;
• Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment;
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook;
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas;
• Perform daily inspections of vehicles with appropriate documentation;
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to customers, co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times;
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required;
• Must keep company vehicles in a clean and orderly condition;
• Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite;
• Able to work in all weather conditions;
• Perform general labor duties when necessary;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Great attention to detail and stress tolerance.

Environment

This position will require working outdoors in various climate conditions ranging from very cold with rain to very hot and humid. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, with occasional periods of time exposed to machine noise.
