Job summary

Ten Mile is seeking a self-motivated and career-driven Full-Time Sweeper Truck Driver. Shifts are typically 12 hours, and you will operate a sweeper truck safely and efficiently, keeping the vehicle clean inside and out and supporting daily maintenance.

Training is available for motivated applicants. This role requires a valid driver’s license (CDL not required but a plus), 2 years of vehicle operation experience, and willingness to work holidays, weekends, and nights.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license; CDL not required but a plus.
• 2 years of previous experience operating company vehicles.
• Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and criminal background check.
• Able to obtain Medical Examiner's Certificate for DOT vehicles.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends, and nights; overtime as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Keep company vehicles clean and presentable.
• Report to work at designated start time.
• Display professional attitude toward customers and team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ten Mile is looking to hire a self-motivated and career-driven Full-Time Sweeper Truck Driver. Scheduled work days are generally in 12 hour increments. Individual must be able to operate truck in a safe and efficient manor as well as maintain a clean truck (both inside and out) of which is assigned. Willing to train motivated applicants. Starting rate from $19-$21 an hour.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have valid drivers license, CDL not necessary but a plus;
• 2 years previous experience operating company vehicles;
• Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and criminal background check;
• Ability to maintain a Medical Examiner's Certificate for DOT vehicles;
• Be willing to work holidays, weekends and nightswhen necessary;
• Ability to work overtime when required;
• Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment;
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook;
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas;
• Perform daily inspections of vehicles with appropriate documentation;
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to customers, co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times;
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required;
• Must keep company vehiclesin a clean and orderly condition;
• Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite;
• Able to work in all weather conditions;
• Perform general labor duties when necessary;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Great attention to detail and stress tolerance.

Environment

This position will require working outdoors in various climate conditions ranging from very cold with rain to very hot and humid. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, with occasional periods of time exposed to machine noise.
