The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Second Shift Sweeper/Cleaner at the Middle School / High School. This is a three (3) hours per day (3:30 - 6:30 p.m.), 5days per week (Monday - Friday), 186 work-day schedule per year (student days) position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma
• Have a valid Ohio Driver License
• Friendly and polite demeanor
• Ability to work well with staff,studentsand parents
• Evidence of exceptional attendance and work record
• Previous sweeper/cleaner experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work at a fast pace when required
• Evidence of good health and hygiene
• Be of good physical stature and able to lift 50 pounds and perform jobs that require bending

GENERAL DUTIES

• Perform general cleaning of the classrooms and buildings
• Mix and use cleaning materials properly and according to directions
• Work safely so as not to expose self or others to unsafe conditions
• Use cleaning equipment in a safe and proper manner
• Open and close facilities as required
• Respond to requests of supervisor in a timely manner

Reports to: Head Custodian

Pay scale starts at $21.19 per hour (proper placement based on negotiated agreement)

Starting date: As soon as possible
