Job summary

Concordia College and its Concordia Language Villages seek an experienced Summer Dean to lead a language and cultural program at a Nordic language village. You will oversee program development, staff leadership, budgeting, and operations, guiding the Village to reflect CLV’s mission in an immersive setting.

You will collaborate with year‑round staff and participate in leadership councils, with opportunities for co‑dean arrangements.

Qualifications

• Swedish and English language proficiency at Intermediate-High or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• U.S. work authorization and residency.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a strong language and cultural program in collaboration with CLV staff.
• Supervise and train seasonal staff and coordinate staff orientation.
• Oversee budgeting, operations, and communications for the summer program.
• Collaborate with Village leadership councils and CLV administrators.
