Job summary

RWDY Inc in Midland, TX is seeking a Field Operator II or III for Saltwater Disposal (SWD) Tech. Shift: Nights, 7 on / 7 off, 12-hour shifts with some days available.

You will monitor SWD facilities, operate pumps, review data, and coordinate with field personnel to ensure safe and compliant disposal operations. The role requires safety awareness, ability to travel between field locations, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years experience in SWD operations, water management, production operations, or related field.
• Knowledge of SWD facilities, injection systems, pumps, valves, tanks, and pipelines.
• Ability to recognize abnormal operating conditions and troubleshoot facility issues.
• Understanding of oilfield safety, environmental regulations, and permit-to-work procedures.
• Ability to read/interpret operating procedures, facility drawings, and simple PFDs.
• Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, electronic reporting).
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between field locations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate SWD facilities to ensure safe disposal of produced water.
• Startup, shutdown, and routine operation of injection pumps and disposal equipment.
• Monitor pressures, flow rates, tank levels, and well performance.
• Review facility conditions daily and respond to abnormal trends.
• Coordinate with field personnel to support disposal capacity requirements.
• Respond to alarms and interruptions to minimize downtime.
• Assist with maintenance and verify readiness after repairs or outages.
• Maintain records of inspections and operating data.
• Use approved software for monitoring, reporting, and work management.
