Swarm Aero is redefining air power with the world's largest swarming UAV network and an autonomous Command & Control software stack. We seek a Perception & Sensor Fusion Engineer to craft algorithms for accurate, shared battlefield perception across thousands of assets.

Responsibilities include training trackers, developing multi-sensor fusion, and deploying on edge hardware. Expect travel up to 25% for on-site tests, with a strong emphasis on real-time performance and reliable, clean software

Qualifications

• Formal training or equivalent depth in estimation theory and multi-target tracking.
• Hands-on deep learning experience for detection/classification.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Rust, Go, or Python.
• Track record deploying algorithms on real systems.

Responsibilities

• Train, tune, and test target recognition and track management systems.
• Develop multi-sensor fusion and state estimation on resource-constrained vehicles.
• Design distributed fusion to unify tracks across the swarm.
• Characterize algorithm performance with flight data and simulations.
• Optimize models for real-time edge inference.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient code.
• Travel up to 25% for onsite tests and integration.
