Responsibilities include:

  • Providing thought leadership and technical expertise in Swaps Market Monitoring and Surveillance.
  • Supporting government clients in market analysis and intelligence development.
  • Evaluating ad-hoc requests related to Swaps Market monitoring.
  • Reporting and analyzing Swaps market activities.
  • Consulting with stakeholders on market activities.
  • Performing valuation analysis for equity and CDS products.
  • Establishing credit surveillance and monitoring signals.
  • Creating surveillance reports for actionable intelligence.
  • Tracking changes by SDR entities and maintaining documentation.
  • Collaborating with program management and teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Supporting development of frameworks, processes, and SOPs.
  • Analyzing ad hoc requests and managing prioritization.
  • Leading program vision and establishing roadmaps.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Market Monitoring and Surveillance in securities-based derivatives.
  • Expert knowledge in Swaps market valuation analysis.
  • Current knowledge of laws and regulations related to Swaps transactions.
  • Ability to support Business Intelligence development.
  • Experience with Bloomberg API or similar data repositories.
  • Knowledge of Dodd-Frank, SEC regulations, SBSR, and Regulation SE.
  • Experience working with senior management and system developers.
  • Proficiency in data analysis platforms such as Python, SQL, MongoDB, and Tableau.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with securities regulatory compliance.
  • Sole US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in related fields.
  • Over 2 years of specialized Swaps market analysis experience.

The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $230,000 annually, plus benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and performance bonuses.
