The Optician role includes helping customers achieve the right type of eyeglasses, lenses, or contact lenses in accordance with their eyesight. Opticians work as part of a team of eye care professionals, including optometrists, and typically assist patients who have had an eye exam and received a prescription. They provide excellent customer service, build relationships, and style eyewear to fit needs and personality. Average commission range is $350‑$750 per month.

SVS offers an employee referral bonus and supplemental earning potential for opticians in addition to their regular compensation, free designer glasses each year, and significant discounts.
