Job summary

Critical Mass is seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP), Performance Media, Investment to lead and shape the investment strategy for a marquee Financial Services account. This executive role reports to C-suite leadership, guiding channel allocation, investment decisions, and cross-functional coordination with Analytics, Technology, and Strategy teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of media investment experience, with senior leadership (VP or above) experience.
• Proven expertise managing enterprise-level media budgets ($100M+) across multi-channel portfolios.
• Deep experience in performance marketing through the funnel and brand-building channels.
• Extensive Upfront and Newfront negotiation experience with value delivery at scale.
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills with CMOs, CFOs, and C-suite.
• Deep understanding of the ad tech and data ecosystem; first-party data activation.

Responsibilities

• Own the senior client relationship for a complex, high-spend Financial Services account at the executive level.
• Set strategic investment direction, allocate channels, and tie investments to business outcomes.
• Lead quarterly and annual investment reviews, briefings, and planning sessions.
• Identify and drive opportunities for growth across the client's portfolio.
• Manage and develop the investment team, providing strategic direction and mentorship.
• Oversee and collaborate across agency disciplines to deliver integrated, best-in-class work.
