Job summary

U.S. Soccer, based at the Arthur M. Blank National Training Center in Atlanta, seeks a visionary SVP, Director of Men’s and Boys' Soccer to lead a comprehensive youth pathway from grassroots to the national team.

The role requires bold leadership, strategic diplomacy, and a data‑driven approach to player development, with responsibility for guiding a high‑performing team and aligning diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant executive leadership experience within soccer or sports.
• Experience leading a large multi-functional team, including budgets and personnel.
• Experience developing and implementing strategy across complex organizations and stakeholder environments.
• Experience working with external stakeholders to align resources in support of strategic plans and initiatives.
• Experience as a lead spokesperson in high-profile settings.
• Experience working with elite male soccer players.
• Knowledge of the global soccer landscape, including player development and pathways.
• Experience with utilizing technology and data to drive soccer and organizational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of men’s and boys’ youth development and pathway strategy with stakeholders.
• Drive an integrated system to measure, monitor, and advance talent development with clubs and colleges.
• Advance investment and visibility for soccer nationwide, including fan engagement and partnerships.
• Publicly communicate performance and progress across the soccer ecosystem.
• Build an environment and culture for the broader team to grow and thrive.
• Develop and mentor a high-performance leadership team within the federation.
