Job summary

U.S. Soccer Federation in Atlanta seeks a Senior Vice President & Director of Men’s and Boys’ Soccer to lead the nationwide youth development and pathway strategy, aligning recreational play up to the National Team program.

The role reports to the COO and collaborates with the Head Coach and technical leaders to implement a comprehensive pathway. The position requires visionary leadership, deep soccer knowledge, data-driven decision making, and the ability to influence clubs, colleges, leagues,

Qualifications

• Significant executive leadership experience within soccer or sports.
• Experience leading a large multi-functional team, including management of budgets and personnel.
• Experience developing and implementing strategy across complex organizations and stakeholder environments.
• Experience working with external stakeholders (investors, owners, donors, sponsors) to align resources.
• Experience as a lead spokesperson in high-profile settings.
• Experience working with elite male soccer players.
• Experience in professional/pre-professional American soccer landscape.
• Knowledge of the global soccer landscape and pathways.
• Experience with using technology and data to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the men’s and boys’ youth development and pathway strategy with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee an integrated system to measure and advance talent development with clubs and leagues.
• Drive investment and visibility for soccer nationwide through engagement and partnerships.
• Publicly communicate performance and progress across the ecosystem, including media and events.
• Develop and nurture a high-performing technical leadership team within the National Team environment.
