Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) seeks a Senior Vice President of Finance to lead financial strategy, planning, and governance for a $25 million operating budget and multiple funding streams.

You will partner with the COO and CEO, manage a small finance team, oversee audits, compliance, and reporting to the Board, and drive scalable processes that support LACI's mission to accelerate clean technology startups and inclusive growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting under U.S. GAAP and fund tracking.
• Experience with federal, state, and private grant regulations incl. Uniform Guidance.
• Leadership over month-end close, budgeting, and audits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Serve as senior financial advisor to COO, CEO, and leadership.
• Lead long-term financial strategy and sustainability.
• Oversee accounting operations and monthly/yearly close.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and grant requirements.
• Manage audits and Form 990 preparation.
• Develop budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning models.
