Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a Director, SVP of Enterprise Operations Change Management in Buffalo, NY, operating in a hybrid work model. You will lead the change management capability for Enterprise Operations Enablement, guiding strategy, planning, and execution across diverse transformation initiatives.

You will partner with executive sponsors, HR, Communications, L&D, and ECMO to drive readiness, adoption, and business outcomes while embedding enterprise frameworks across initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 9+ years of experience in change management, organizational effectiveness, transformation, communications, learning and development, project management, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success leading large scale organizational change initiatives within complex organizations.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing across multiple organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the Enterprise Operations Change Management capability within Enterprise Operations Enablement.
• Build and manage a team of change management professionals supporting strategic priorities across Enterprise Operations.
• Define engagement models, governance routines, resource allocation practices, and performance measures for the function.
• Develop capability roadmaps and priorities aligned to Enterprise Operations objectives.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
