Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Senior Vice President Corporate Controller to lead all financial operations. This pivotal role requires overseeing the company’s financial reporting, general accounting, and budgeting processes, serving as a key partner to the CFO.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in senior accounting roles, including public accounting experience. With a strong focus on GAAP compliance and financial strategy, you'll help guide the company's growth and ensure financial integrity.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years’ experience in senior accounting roles with progressive responsibility.
  • Minimum 5 years’ public accounting experience.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with strong organizational skills.

How you make a difference

The Senior Vice President (SVP) Corporate Controller will oversee all aspects of the company's financial reporting, general accounting, and budgeting, ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate financial statements and analysis. They will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO in scaling the company organically and through acquisition and will interface with the Board of Directors and Private Equity Sponsors. Additionally, the SVP Corporate Controller will manage payroll, M&A support, and vendor payments, playing a key role in the overall financial management of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of financial statements and analysis to management, the Board, clients, and lenders.
  • Establish and maintain the Company's accounting policies and internal controls, ensuring adherence to GAAP and safeguarding company assets.
  • Provide timely analysis of financial results to facilitate operational decisions, assist in the evaluation of potential acquisition targets and the integration of acquired entities.
  • Manage and oversee accounting functions including financial reporting, accounts payable, billing, payroll, tax provision, compliance, and reporting to lenders.
  • Support the preparation of the annual budget, budget package for the Board, and monthly actual vs. budget variance analysis with related recommendations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
  • Master Degree preferred. Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience
  • 15+ years’ experience in senior accounting roles with progressive responsibility.
  • Minimum 5 years’ public accounting experience is required; Must have public company or public debt experience; Used to working in multi‑tasking environment and working in decentralized situations; Has worked in an environment with companies in transition, i.e. growth or change; Experience and/or exposure to technology enabling environments; Acquisition and integration experience; Appreciates the importance of the customer and operating teams; Strong growth and profit orientation; Demonstrated ability to solve business issues while also managing costs and risks; Strong organizational and presentation skills; Proven leadership capabilities; Ability to garner respect from senior management and team; Experience with Great Plains is helpful.
Licenses/Certifications
  • A CPA designation.
