The Symicor Group is recruiting for an SVP - Commercial Lending Manager in Johnsburg, IL. This role provides strategic leadership over all lending activities for the footprint, requiring a senior leader with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, proven leadership, and a track record of growing a sound loan portfolio.

Responsibilities include leading CRE and C&I lenders, underwriting and approving credit, negotiating terms, ensuring regulatory compliance, and cultivating customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance; MBA preferred
• Ten years of commercial banking leadership experience; minimum five years in credit review/credit experience
• Direct lending and lending/sales management experience ideal
• Demonstrated leadership ability and strong written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision

Responsabilités

• Lead Commercial Banking activities for a large geographic area and manage a team of CRE and C&I lenders
• Utilize analytical skills to make critical loan decisions and solve problems
• Coordinate activities of Commercial Lenders with meetings, updates, and status reporting
• Provide accurate management of the portfolio and ensure retention and performance to specs
• Lead underwriting and approval of new credit requests and renewals; negotiate terms
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, procedures, and banking regulations
• Coach and develop lenders and drive excellence in all aspects of the business
