Symicor Group seeks a Commercial Lender for the Chicago, IL market to originate and service C&I and CRE loans. The role supports senior officers on larger deals and focuses on building client relationships while ensuring credit quality.

Not a remote position, with a compensation package that includes a salary up to $175K and strong benefits. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in banking or finance and 7+ years in lending or credit support, plus a proven track record of CRE & C&I

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in banking, finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of direct lending or credit support experience with focus on business relationships.
• Proven experience generating CRE & C&I loans of $12M–$15M annually.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage commercial loan accounts meeting lending requirements and profitability.
• Solicit commercial clients through calls, referrals, and cross-selling.
• Obtain COIs and attend networking events in the assigned geographic area.
• Generate a wide variety of commercial and real estate loans.
• Cross-sell bank products to support deposit growth and other services.
• Analyze creditworthiness and loan merits of customers.
• Review title reports or surveys to determine issues and risks.
• Evaluate applicant finances to determine loan feasibility and present to credit analysts.
• Meet applicants to obtain loan information and explain the process.
• Guide loans through approval and closing processes.
• Explain, promote, or refer bank products and services.
• Represent the Bank in the community through professional and civic involvement.
