Job summary

Sunward Federal Credit Union seeks a Senior Vice President (SVP) for Business Services & Lending to drive the vision, performance, and growth of commercial lending, business services, treasury management, and commercial deposits. The role oversees enterprise credit strategy, risk governance, product development, and portfolio management across Sunward’s business lending functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible commercial lending, credit, financial services, or business banking leadership experience.
• Extensive experience leading large, complex commercial lending organizations or business services functions.
• Strong strategic planning, credit risk governance, product development, and portfolio management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise strategy for commercial lending, business services, and treasury management.
• Oversee commercial credit risk, including portfolio performance, risk rating systems, and loss mitigation.
• Lead the development, enhancement, and feasibility analysis of new commercial lending and deposit products.
• Partner with IT to implement technology solutions that improve member experience and efficiency.
• Guide strategy for member business acquisition and relationship expansion.
