LPL Financial seeks a seasoned Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Technology & Enterprise Services to lead legal strategy for technology transformation, privacy, cybersecurity, and enterprise contracting. The role partners with Technology, Information Security, Product, Finance, and Operations to enable growth while managing regulatory risk.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this executive will mentor a team, oversee IP, technology law, cyber and vendor agreements, and advise

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree (licensure in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar).
10+ years of legal leadership experience in a large public company, financial services organization, major technology company, or nationally recognized law firm.
Deep expertise spanning technology transactions, privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and commercial contracting.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise legal leadership for Corporate Services Legal and privacy/cybersecurity matters.
Oversee IP strategy including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and licensing; advise on AI-related IP issues.
Provide legal counsel on enterprise technology initiatives, cloud, data licensing, and technology partnerships.
Lead cybersecurity governance, incident response, and regulatory compliance discussions.
Lead data privacy strategies and cross-border data governance.
Drive efficient contracting frameworks and vendor management across technology transactions.
Partner with executives to align legal strategy with business goals and risk management.
