Job summary

BNY seeks a Senior Vice President, Application Technology Audit to lead the Internal Audit Department's technology risk program across multiple U.S. locations, including New York City, Lake Mary, FL and Pittsburgh.

You will define the annual audit plan, oversee audits, assess IT controls, and develop staff while partnering with senior technology leadership to strengthen resilience and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Master’s degree preferred and professional certifications are desirable.
• CISA, CISSP, or CISM certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute annual auditable entity risk assessments.
• Define the annual audit plan.
• Set individual audit scope and testing.
• Oversee audits in line with department standards.
• Identify risk-based gaps in technology systems and processes.
• Lead discussions with management and obtain remedial actions.
• Manage staff performance and development.
• Maintain relationships with key technology staff.
• Engage in relevant training and apply knowledge to audits.
• Prioritize project workflows and investigate issues.
