Old Dominion Freight Line is currently looking for a Pick up & Delivery Supervisor to join our OD Family Culture. Our P & D Supervisor is responsible for supervising drivers while coordinating the timely pickup and delivery of shipments in a fast‑paced environment within the local operation to meet department/shift and service center standards for safety, quality, efficiency, cost, service and delivery. The supervisor must complete the various company and government forms utilized in freight movement such as shipping orders, city stripping manifests, freight bills, inter‑terminal movement forms (ITM's) and exception forms. Constantly uses OD’s proprietary technology system permitting consistent monitoring of shipment locations as freight moves through the various terminals while communicating continuously throughout the day with drivers/associates, customers and team members verbally and through other computer operating systems.
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and state/local wage requirements. $75,552 - $94,440
