Job summary

Nimnicht Buick GMC is seeking a dependable Automotive Service & Parts Custodian to keep the Service and Parts Departments clean, organized, and operating efficiently in a fast-paced dealership.

Responsibilities include cleaning all areas, organizing storage, and assisting with parts delivery and inventory. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work with a team in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Requires valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience in custodial, warehouse, dealership, or maintenance is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Service Department, Parts Department, and customer areas.
• Sweep, mop, and keep shop floors clean throughout the day.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, and waiting areas.
• Organize parts storage areas and assist with maintaining inventory organization.
• Keep service lanes, entrances, and walkways clean and free of debris.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and transporting parts as needed.
• Help maintain shop equipment and ensure work areas remain safe and organized.
• Perform light maintenance and miscellaneous duties assigned by management.
• Support the Service and Parts teams to ensure a clean, professional environment for employees and customers.
