Job summary

Nucar Auto Group in Delaware is seeking a delivery associate to pick up and drop off vehicle parts, maintain accurate delivery logs, and ensure smooth operations with customers and vendors. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and timely service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 30 lbs, and comfort with bending and reaching. Pre-employment testing is required and benefits include health coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Able to lift 30 lbs multiple times, this is a physically active job.
• Must be comfortable bending, reaching and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers parts to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Accountable for positive customer relations within the department to meet CSI goals.
• Delivers parts to body shop when needed.
• Verifies invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
• Checks payments received with invoices for each delivery.
• Maintains an accurate log of daily deliveries, pick-ups and returned parts; obtain signatures as required.

Job Requirements:

• Picks up and delivers parts to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Accountable for positive customer relations within the respective department/dealership to meet or exceed the regional Parts Customer Service Index (CSI).
• Delivers parts to body shop when needed.
• Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
• Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
• Maintains an accurate log of daily deliveries, pick-ups and returned parts. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry, as per dealership requirement.

Qualifications:

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clear driving record
• Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Able to work at a fast pace.
• Able to lift 30 lbs multiple times, this is a physically active job.
• Strong work ethic is critical.
• Must be comfortable bending, reaching and kneeling.
