Enchanted Wood Violin Studio is seeking a part-time violin teacher in North Austin. You will conduct weekly private lessons, guide students toward recitals, and collaborate with fellow teachers to craft a holistic curriculum in a welcoming teaching space.

Enchanted Wood Violin Studio (enchantedwoodsuzuki.com) is a dynamic growing studio of private teachers who share a nurturing philosophy, studio organizing, recitals, and community events. We are in North Austin in the Arboretum area, just 20 minutes from downtown Austin, close to both Round Rock and Austin ISD which have excellent and competitive public school orchestra programs.
Our studio uses both Suzuki and Kaleidoscopes. The latter is a holistic and child-centered approach integrating Suzuki, Montessori and Kodaly philosophies. More information about Kaleidoscopes can be found at discoverviolin.org .

There are many gigging opportunities, from subbing with the Austin Symphony to weddings and other events. A qualified string player can easily play 1-2 weddings per weekend during most months of the year.
