Ridgefield Suzuki School, a well established program in Ridgefield, CT, seeks a passionate teacher to join our Suzuki Method community. You will teach private lessons and group classes to students aged 3.5 and up, and assist with recitals, concerts and other community events.

An Early Childhood class could be taught by qualified applicants. The position starts with 3–4 days per week, with the potential for full-time in the near future.

Qualifications

• Registered Suzuki Bk 1 training, higher preferred.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Music.

Job description

Ridgefield Suzuki School is a well established school offering violin, viola, cello, piano and flute lessons and group classes in the Suzuki Method, as well as early childhood classes to Ridgefield, CT and the surrounding communities. Ridgefield is a beautiful, suburban town within commuting distance to NYC. We are a close-knit school community of true Suzuki families who understand and value the Suzuki Philosophy. Our faculty are all accomplished musicians with proper Suzuki training and a deep‑stated belief in the Suzuki values. We are looking for a teacher with a love of teaching, children, and the Suzuki Method to join our team!

Duties:

Teach private lessons and group classes to students age 3.5 and up. Help facilitate recitals, concerts, and other community events. An Early Childhood class could be taught by qualified applicants.

Well‑developed studio of about 15‑20 students, plus group classes. 3‑4 days per week to start with the possibility of full time in the near future if the applicant wanted. Full time teachers are given full benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, 401k with matching, and long term disability insurance.

Qualifications:
