Job summary

Towne Bus LLC in Medford, MA is seeking a dedicated SUV Driver to join our student transportation team. In this transitional role, you will operate a company-provided SUV with a regular Class D license to safely transport students to and from school and activities while enrolled in a training program to obtain endorsements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious SUV Driver to join our student transportation team. In this transitional role, the driver will operate a company-provided SUV using a regular (non-CDL) driver’s license to safely transport students to and from school and related activities. While in this role, the driver will be actively enrolled in a training program with the goal of obtaining the required endorsements.

While Operating an SUV (Non-CDL):

• Safely transport students following assigned routes and schedules

• Ensure student safety during pick-up, transit, and drop-off

• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly vehicle interior

• Communicate professionally with dispatch, school staff, and supervisors

• Complete required trip documentation and incident reports

• Learn and apply student transportation safety procedures and emergency protocols

• Demonstrate steady progress toward licensure and professional development goals
