Job summary

Infineon Technologies is seeking a Sustaining Product Engineer to support qualification, process improvements, and cross-functional problem solving for advanced power and discrete IC devices. You will work with QA, project managers, and manufacturing to drive robust qualification, data-driven decisions, and strict MIL-PRF specifications.

Ideal candidates have a strong engineering background, hands-on data analysis skills, and a proactive team player mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with JMP/MINITAB is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement qualification plans; lead qualification for fab site transfer and new products.
  • Collaborate with project managers to establish project plans for successful execution.
  • Minimize project execution costs by reducing cycle time and optimizing workflows.
  • Monitor qualification lots, resolve issues, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Analyze data and perform statistical analysis to communicate results clearly.
  • Generate specifications for qualified devices per MIL-PRF-19500 and MIL-PRF-38535.
  • Develop knowledge of product configuration/structure and manufacturing processes; support root cause analysis.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert in product performance within cross-functional teams.

As a Sustaining Product Engineer you will contribute to the expansion of the Infineon Team!!!

In your new role you will:
  • Work with QA to define and implement qual plans. Lead qualification efforts for fab site transfer and new products.
  • Collaborate with project managers to establish project plans for successful execution.
  • Minimize the cost of project execution by looking for opportunities to reduce cycle time and optimize workflows.
  • Monitor qualification lots, resolve issues during qualification, and develop mitigation plans where needed.
  • Monitor and report product performance and qualification activities, including data review and statistical analysis, to clearly communicate and interpret results to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Generate specifications for qualified devices per MIL-PRF-19500 andMIL-PRF-38535.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of product configuration /structure and manufacturing processes. Play a key role in problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Participate as the Subject Matter Expert in product performance, as a key member of cross-functional teams.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics
  • An understanding of electronic engineering principles of discrete and power IC components
  • Demonstrated skills in data review, problem solving, communications and teamwork.
  • Ability to simplify complex and detailed standards and processes into actionable, easy-to-understand flows for product execution
  • Experience with MS Office tools, especially EXCEL
  • Experience with JMP and/or MINITAB preferred
  • The mind set of a team player and a self-starter

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of $ 95,400 per year and maximum of $ 131,200 per year
In addition, all full-time employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan
