Job summary

Hyper Solutions Inc in Richmond, VA is seeking a Sustaining Engineering Manager to own product lifecycle, drive reliability, and lead a multidisciplinary team across engineering, manufacturing, and quality.

You will manage ECRs/ECOs, guide continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with customer requirements and regulatory standards while collaborating with Product Management, Supply Chain, and Customer Support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of leadership or people management experience.
• Experience sustaining released products and ECO/ECR processes.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own sustaining engineering for released products across lifecycle.
• Lead and develop a team of sustaining engineers.
• Manage ECRs, ECOs, deviations, and product changes.
• Drive improvements in reliability, manufacturability, quality and cost.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, supply chain, and customers.
• Maintain product documentation and BOMs.
