Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading engineering or technical teams.
• Experience in sustaining engineering, product lifecycle management, or related technical environment.
• Experience in regulated industries (medical or dental devices preferred).
• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Master's in mechanical engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Engineering function to support existing products throughout their lifecycle.
• Manage New Product Introduction Processes for OEM products.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
• Ensure timely evaluation and implementation of engineering changes (ECR/ECO).
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for field issues and quality concerns.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the Sustaining Engineering team.
• Support employee development, mentoring, and performance management.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and solution-oriented team culture.
• Support hiring and onboarding activities as needed.
• Occasional travel is required.
