AMETEK Hermetic Seal is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Sustaining Engineering function and contribute to site leadership. You will champion engineering excellence, support operations, and ensure alignment between customer requirements and manufacturing capability.

The role reports to the DVP, Business Manager – Interconnect, and emphasizes building high-performing teams, delivering measurable results in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven track record delivering complex engineering projects on time and on budget.
• Strong knowledge of glass-to-metal sealing, precision machining, and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sustaining Engineering team with accountability and high performance.
• Drive project execution on time and budget, aligned with business goals.
• Champion continuous improvement via Six Sigma, DMAIC, and VAVE initiatives.
• Develop and optimize hermetically sealed package manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Sales, and Supply Chain.
• Interface with customers for issue resolution and product improvements.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production challenges.
