Job summary

Seagate Technology invites a Sustaining Intern for the Summer 2027 program. You will join the Wafer Sustaining Engineering group, collaborating with engineers to support the factory and gain hands-on experience in a cleanroom environment.

You will contribute to projects aimed at improving factory efficiency, CAD design, and documentation while learning SolidWorks and automation tools. The role requires completing one year of college in a STEM field and returning in Fall 2027, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older at start of program.
• Completed one year at college/university in engineering or science and returning in Fall 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and technician activities in Sustaining group.
• Assist in CAD design and documentation updates.
• Operate and test state-of-the-art nanofabrication equipment and measurement instruments.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and improve processes.
