Medtronic plc in Plymouth, Minnesota, seeks a Sustaining Engineer II to support high-volume catheter production. You will work with Operations, Process Development, Quality, Reliability, and Regulatory to improve processes, stability, and business continuity.

The role emphasizes Lean methods, GMP adherence, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment that directly impacts patient outcomes worldwide.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; 2+ years engineering experience or advanced degree with 0 years experience.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing and/or high-volume production preferred.
• Green Belt certification and Lean Six Sigma training are a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide day-to-day engineering support for high-volume catheter production.
• Lead or support projects to improve process efficiencies, yield, and product performance.
• Drive scrap reduction and cycle-time improvements using Lean methods (standard work, visual management, waste elimination).
• Plan and execute process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) and test method validations (TMV).
• Own uptime, quality, and yield for assigned production lines.
