Job summary

OPW in Hamilton, OH seeks a Sustaining Engineer to provide frontline engineering support for a diverse line of fluid-transfer products. You will collaborate with design, operations, and quality teams to solve manufacturing and quality issues, implement enhancements, and assist with new product development in the Hamilton facility.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 3–5+ years sustaining or manufacturing experience, proficiency in Creo/Windchill, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• BSME degree required.
• 3–5+ years sustaining engg/manufacturing support or product engineering.
• Proven ability to lead RCA investigations and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory changes for Hamilton rail products and update production processes.
• Perform root-cause analyses to understand performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support quality during audits to ensure AAR certification compliance.
• Interface with design eng, operations, and supply chain to provide frontline technical support at Hamilton.
