Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline.
• Sophomore, junior, or senior standing; GPA preferred around 3.0+.
• Familiar with engineering design principles and product development processes.
• Experience with 3D CAD software; Autodesk Inventor preferred.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing new products and product improvements.
• Create and update engineering documentation including CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and test reports.
• Support analyses to evaluate concepts, performance, and feasibility.
• Participate in product testing and validation with data collection and documentation.
• Assist with comparative product testing and evaluation.
• Use 3D CAD software to develop and revise product designs.
• Apply FEA/CFD to simulate product performance.
• Support DFMA/ DFA initiatives.
• Organize engineering data, test results, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Product Management teams.
• Assist engineering staff with problem-solving and project execution.
