Role Summary

This role involves analyzing product field failure data, designing and implementing engineering corrections for post-release product issues, and supporting operational teams in root cause analysis. It focuses on Android applications integrated with cloud-based SaaS solutions, requiring diagnosing customer incidents, resolving complex issues, and supporting updates to enhance user experience.

Location

This position is available in Alpharetta, GA; Lincolnshire, IL; Austin, TX; Holtsville, NY, USA, and can be performed remotely within the US.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, debug, and resolve software defects in Android applications
  • Investigate, debug, and resolve production issues, including deploying hotfixes
  • Maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases
  • Implement minor updates and enhancements for better user experience
  • Generate data reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Define and implement requirements for new analysis tools
  • Ensure engineering changes are approved and documented
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria
  • Coordinate activities of team members as needed
  • Engage with external contacts and represent the organization in customer interactions
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience
  • Experience with Kotlin and Java
  • Knowledge of Android frameworks, libraries, and debugging tools
  • Experience with API testing and Postman
  • Knowledge of OAuth and JSON
  • SQL querying experience; NoSQL experience preferred
  • Experience with Cloud platforms such as GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to Python, Gradle, Cloud Functions, Microservices architecture
  • Experience with MDM solutions (e.g., SOTI, Airwatch, Intune)
  • Experience with Big Data, Dataflow, Spark, ETL, BigQuery
  • Experience with BI tools like Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI
  • GCP Certification
  • Experience with IoT
  • Willingness to travel as required

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: USD 106,800 - USD 160,200 annually. Salary varies based on location, skills, and experience. Roles are eligible for incentive programs, including performance-based bonuses and long-term incentives.
