Responsibilities

1. Design data processing pipelines which meet functional requirements, minimize technical debt, and adhere to organizational standards. Act as a leader on the team throughout the delivery and the ongoing lifespan of those pipelines.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate business objectives into actionable technical requirements.
3. Design, implement, and maintain data models to support the reporting and analytics needs of the business.
4. Design, develop, and optimize complex queries to support data discovery, analysis, and reporting.
5. Conduct thorough discovery to identify and address data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, accessibility for business needs, and proper security.
6. Perform research and engage in Proof of Concept work to assess and implement emerging capabilities of our tools where applicable.
