North Carolina State University, through the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS), seeks a Sustainable Vegetable Apprenticeship Coordinator to lead the first statewide registered apprenticeship program for diversified vegetable farms in NC. This 12-month role focuses on training, curriculum, and statewide collaboration with ApprenticeshipNC.

Mansioni

• Oversee program logistics, hiring, social media, and communications.
• Organize apprentice gatherings/training and register the apprenticeship with ApprenticeshipNC.
• Coordinate payments and registration with NC State HR and Business.
• Coordinate the Project Advisory Team (PAT).
• Mentor apprentices and recruit host farms, including organic transitions.
• Support curriculum development and register curriculum with ApprenticeshipNC.
• Assist with evaluation and grant writing for future funding of the program.
• Coordinate research efforts including recruitment, interviewing, and data analysis.
