Lawrence Perry And Associates, Inc. is seeking a Structural Design Intern to join our integrated architecture and engineering team in California.

You’ll assist project engineers and managers in the structural design of a broad range of building types, from education to performing arts spaces, while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment. You’ll work with CAD/Revit/SketchUp in a design-forward firm that values sustainability, equity, and professional growth,

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of CAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Enthusiastic commitment to multidisciplinary design and team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Curious and open minded to learn, with an interest in long-term design career.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPA.
• Assist Project Engineers and Project Managers in structural design of diverse building types.
• Conduct research for next generation design and analysis methods related to projects.
