Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking an Innovation Engineer to support the development and commercialization of sustainable flexible fiber-based packaging solutions. This role involves hands-on product development, laboratory evaluation, quality testing, and customer trial support across R&D, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in chemical engineering or related field, with experience in FDA/ISO standards and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in chemical engineering, paper/pulp/fiber science or equivalent.
• Experience with FDA requirements and ISO standards.
• Strong development processes and manufacturing knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop sustainable flexible fiber packaging platforms.
• Scale up from trials to full-scale manufacturing.
• Collaborate with global brands to develop new product concepts.
