SBM Offshore in New York is seeking a Recycle Technician to manage recycling, reuse, and reclamation activities. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork to maintain efficient collection and sorting operations.

Responsibilities include following procedures, maintaining logs, and coordinating with supervisors to ensure proper handling of materials and adherence to environmental standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of recycling experience in a company environment or equivalent training/experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Hazardous Waste Handling Training may be required.

• Collect, salvage, and sort reusable or recycle materials or waste materials.
• Inspect and sort materials.
• Maintain dock and collection areas.
• Work with multiple collection containers.
