Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as supply chain or operations.
• Minimum 3 years' management experience overseeing materials and logistics in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish inventory requirements considering vendor lead times and production tempo.
• Partner with Scheduling, Manufacturing and Engineering to develop material plans.
• Manage vendor relationships and source new vendors to optimize value and reduce risk.
• Review and approve purchase orders and requisitions for materials and equipment.
• Apply inventory best practices to minimize shrink and errors in order fulfillment.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory data in ERP and oversee cycle counts and annual inventories.
• Oversee packaging and shipping processes with carriers and warehouses.
• Track key metrics to measure effectiveness of material management and logistics teams.
• Lead Purchasing, Receiving, Warehouse, and Shipping teams with a continuous improvement mindset.
