Job summary

Thomas Young Group seeks a Landscape Designer to join a design-driven, South Florida studio. The role blends artistic vision with technical precision to craft innovative outdoor spaces and contribute across early concepts to construction documents.

You’ll develop drawings, renderings, and technical documents, perform site analyses, and research materials and strategies, collaborating with teams, clients, and consultants on project execution and presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in landscape design.
• Strong portfolio showing creativity and technical skill.
• Solid understanding of site planning, grading, planting design, and sustainability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full design process—from early concepts to construction documents.
• Develop design drawings, diagrams, renderings, and technical documents.
• Assist in conducting site analysis and researching materials or design strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and consultants on project execution.
• Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and presentations.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in sustainable design.
