Job summary

IPM Institute is seeking a full-time coordinator for its Sustainable Food Group in Madison, WI. The role focuses on advancing sustainable agriculture across food company supply chains while engaging project partners, clients, and stakeholders.

You will help develop and evaluate initiatives, manage data analyses, and drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve sustainability goals. The position offers growth opportunities and a flexible schedule with some remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent data analysis and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including high level of comfort in Excel.
• Experience, knowledge and demonstrated interest in sustainable agriculture.

Responsibilities

• Support development and pilots of a system to make pesticide risk transparent across supply chains.
• Coordinate virtual and in-person meetings and focus groups with stakeholders.
• Support quantitative and qualitative analyses including data aggregation and interpretation of pesticide use and risk data.
• Support external communication across project partners and participants for iterative design, data collection and platform testing.
• Support research and development of food company sustainability programs, strategies and policies.
• Support implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of sustainable agriculture programs for food company supply chains.
• Contribute to production and presentation of reports and recommendations for clients and partners.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
