Job summary

The Sustainable Community School Site Coordinator at Chicago Arts High School, operated by the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance (PRAA), leads the day-to-day implementation of the Sustainable Community Schools strategy.

This full-time, in-person role is based at Chicago Arts High School with regular PRAA and partner-site work across Chicago. The candidate will build relationships, coordinate programs, monitor grant activities, and ensure compliant reporting to advance student success.

Qualifications

• Highly organized, collaborative, relationship-centered professional with ability to manage multiple projects and facilitate meetings.
• Strong data collection and reporting skills; ability to work with partners to meet grant requirements.
• Experience coordinating contractors and programs and ensuring compliance with PRAA, CPS, SCS requirements.

Responsibilities

• This is a fully in-person position.
• The primary work location is Chicago Arts High School, a Chicago Public School.
• Regular work will also take place at PRAA facilities, community spaces, partner organizations, and other locations throughout Chicago.
• Local travel between Chicago Arts High School, PRAA sites, community partner locations, meetings, and program activities is required.
• Occasional evening and weekend availability for after-school programming, family engagement activities, performances, community meetings, summer programming, and special events.
• Work schedule may be adjusted based on school programming, community events, and grant activities.
• Selected candidate must successfully complete all required PRAA and Chicago Public Schools background checks.
