Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a Project Manager to provide strategic guidance toward the compliant, safe, and efficient handling and processing of all contracted waste streams at the facility. This role ensures services meet regulatory and safety standards and are delivered profitably.

The position involves local day travel, some overnight trips, and collaboration with hospital staff to optimize waste programs, manage contracts, and drive operational improvements across Waste Management's

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in healthcare industry or equivalent in project/customer management.
• Public speaking duties and ability to communicate with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with healthcare waste issues and consultative skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors performance of operational efficiencies and cost goals, reduces costs while meeting obligations.
• Provides strategic resources to hospital staff to manage contracted waste streams safely and compliantly.
• Keeps current with EPA/DOT/DEA and state/local regulations affecting waste streams.
• Surveys customers for compliance gaps and waste segregation opportunities using the partner app.
• Manages implementation of new compliant services and coordinates schedules with customers.
• Schedules customer-facing activity to improve service satisfaction and profitability.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
