Job summary

WM is seeking a Project Manager in the Denver area to guide compliant, safe handling of contracted waste streams. The role requires on-site presence and occasional travel, primarily day trips with some overnight stays.

You will monitor performance, manage costs, and liaise with hospital staff to ensure services meet regulatory standards and contractual obligations. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and healthcare experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry, or the equivalent in project/customer management experience.
• Public speaking duties are required.
• Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitors operational efficiencies and helps meet cost goals by reviewing invoices and cutting costs where possible.
• Provides strategic consultative resources to hospital staff for safe, compliant waste streams; acts as primary liaison.
• Shares expertise on regulations (EPA, DOT, DEA, state/local) as needed for waste streams.
• Conducts customer surveys to identify compliance gaps and waste segregation opportunities via Virtual Compliance Partner.
• Manages implementation of new compliance-based services; coordinates schedules and delivers training.
• Schedules and completes customer-facing activities focused on satisfaction and relationships; seeks efficiencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
