Job summary

Northgate Gonzalez Market in Anaheim seeks reliable associates to support the sustainability department. You will sort incoming recyclables, perform janitorial duties, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment; a propane forklift may be used during shifts.

Education is not required, and training will be provided. Forklift certification might be required, and safety policies must be followed to ensure efficient operations and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a standard drug test.
• Forklift certification might be required.
• Knowledge of safety and HAZCOM policies to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort conveyor recyclables and manage trash according to procedures.
• Operate baler machinery and ensure equipment safety safeguards are in place.
• Stand for 8–10 hours, maintain pace and accuracy in sorting tasks.
• Assist in training associates and maintaining cleanliness of the premises.
• Ensure proper use of utilities and respond to spills or hazards promptly.
• Follow safety policies and maintain sanitation standards as required.
