Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Orange County CA is seeking a warehouse/retail associate to stage merchandise for auctions and to stock the store floor with clothing, wares, and furniture in Santa Ana.

You will operate a forklift, handle returns, and assist customers by delivering merchandise promptly while maintaining safety and company policies. Training program participants and teamwork are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired, not required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Six months prior relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and speak English well enough to receive simple working instructions, work with co-workers, communicate with customers, and answer simple questions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Stage merchandise for retail and wholesale auctions.
• Stock the retail store with clothing, wares, hard goods, shoes, furniture and other merchandise.
• Collect Santa Ana store returns and dispose of trash.
• Operate forklift and ensure safe working order.
• Assist customers and deliver merchandise promptly.
• Train employees and program participants as needed.
