Job summary

Kayne Anderson Real Estate seeks a Sustainability Associate in Boca Raton to drive the integration of sustainability objectives across the portfolio. You will coordinate GRESB/PRI reporting, collaborate with third-party consultants, and support investor requests while tracking energy, water, and emissions data.

You will work with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability into investment and asset management processes, staying current on regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field.
• Advanced knowledge of energy data management and tracking; ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager experience.
• Experience with sustainability reporting standards (GRESB, PRI, GHG Protocol).
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex data clearly.
• Knowledge of building performance standards and emerging regulations.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry groups.
• Credentials like LEED AP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainability strategy integration across the firm and asset teams.
• Oversee annual GRESB reporting with consultants; ensure timely submissions.
• Support investor reporting and due diligence responses.
• Manage energy, water, and emissions data; build/maintain dashboards.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and energy-related disclosures.
