Job summary

Ball Corporation in Colorado is seeking an experienced Sustainability Data Analyst to collect and configure data from water, gas, and electricity consumption to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements aligned with Ball's sustainability targets.

You will collaborate with global teams to standardize processes, run sustainability trials, model energy savings and financial impacts, and support equipment specifications that reduce energy use across our plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least two years industry-related experience.
• Strong proficiency with a computer and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Align global and regional sustainability teams for a common approach to process standardization, sustainable audits and templates, and reporting.
• Support sustainability trials, new equipment utilization and the deployment of sustainable solutions to existing equipment as it relates to equipment upgrades.
• Understands and supports the management of sustainable solutions, modelling energy/water savings and financial impacts.
• Uses lean and 6 sigma, or similar analytical techniques to model and identify cost savings across our plants to implement and improve sustainable business process.
• Develop and maintain globally aligned templates for a reduction of energy requirements in can making process that aligns with Ball's 2030 targets.
• Supports the development of equipment specifications relating to energy targets.
